What Classification would I give my short film?
I think that I would be able to justify the created short film as a 12A due to the content in the short film being somewhat not appropriate for the younger audiences but not too graphic for young teens. Some of the many variables that can be considered are:
Overall I think that the rating should be a 12A because the level of explicit content, both visually and verbally was mild but not explicit enough to warrant a rating any higher than a 15. I think this can be justified by the points that I made prior to the blog, the mildness of the short film in most of the critical points/categories that may apply to our film.

- Language - The Language that the short film contained was not weak but fairly mild and would also appear under the topic of discrimination as the words used would typically use to cause offense to anyone who identified as a woman. In a typical 12A, one or two more severe swear words are allowed as well as possible life-threatening situations.
- Violence - There weren't any scenes of visible acts of violence that happened during the duration of the short film but during the photos on the board scene there are written threats of violence which I think would come under the violence as they are still a threat of physical harm.
- Fear - Another factor that may put the age rating up is that some of the scenes could be seen as intimidating or 'scary' to a younger audience which would be unsuitable for a young audience, but the number of scenes that contain these possible fearful moments would be insufficient for it to affect that rating.
- Discrimination - Discrimination is a massive factor when it comes to the film because there are a lot of hateful messages that appear in several scenes as well as there being influences to suicide which is the main force that will drive this short film to a 12A bordering on a 15.
- Dangerous Behaviour - Throughout the story, there are multiple moments where suicide is involved and talked about. This topic can be very sensitive for a lot of viewers and will increase the rating and push it to a 15 due to it being a sensitive subject as well as possible distressing scenes.
